THE Inner Wheel Club of Tavistock presented a £1,000 cheque to Dr Colin Teasedale at its monthly meeting recently.

The money was raised from fundraising events held by the club and will go towards equipment required for the Primrose Breast Care Unit at Derriford Hospital.

Dr Teasedale gave the club a highlighting and interesting talk on his work, which was well received by 20 members.

The club felt this was a worthy cause and would hope other organisations could find ways of raising funds for something that affects everyone in one way or another.
