BIKINMOTION/Lower Chelston Flat Roofing junior rider Louise Amery, from Tavistock, has had to miss a great opportunity to mix with some of the best riders in the world due to injury.
Louise was sent a special invitation to ride in the Revolutions International Track meeting which was held at Manchester Velodrome last Saturday.
But the organisers were unaware of the wrist fracture Louise had sustained just weeks ago while out training on the roads around her Tavistock home.
It would have been a great chance for Louise to showcase her talent on the track alongside Great Britain?s top riders and the Olympic team.
World champions David Millar and Bradley Wiggins, together with Olympic gold medallist Jason Queally and his sprint team, are just some of the top names who will be present at the event.
This will be only a temporary setback for Louise as she will be returning to training next week.
