A TEENAGE showjumper who suffered painful injuries after falling from her horse at Okehampton Show last Thursday is described as being ?as comfortable as possible? in hospital. Caroline Millet-Spicer, 15, from Drewsteignton, fell from the front of her horse, Cameo, after he took off badly. She was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, where it was discovered she had a broken collar bone and a dislocated hip. Her mother, Gail, said it was expected she would be in hospital for about three weeks. The injuries are on the same side, so Caroline is unable to walk or use crutches. ?She was in absolute agony, but is now as comfortable as can be expected. She is devastated at not being able to continue the season show jumping,? Gail said. Caroline had been doing ?very well? until now, she added. Caroline has had Cameo ? who was uninjured ? for a couple of years, and her mother said she intended to get back on the horse ?as soon as she can?.
