CALLINGTON police would like help from the public after a farm cat was shot in the jaw and had to be put down in Callington between March 8 and 12.
The animal was shot with an air rifle and anyone with information about the crime, which occurred on the outskirts of the town, should contact Callington police on the 101 number. The crime number is BN/12/176.
Police are also asking for information about the theft of £350 worth of diesel from a lorry in Frogwell Road between March 9 and 12 (crime number BN/12/171) and the theft of 50 granite setts from the Kelly Bray area between midday on March 9 and 7.30am on March 10 (crime number BN/12/173).
A bollard was ripped out of the ground at Kit Hill between 5pm on March 15 and 8am on March 16. Police said it appeared to have been removed for some off-road driving and put back but caused some damage. The crime number is BN/12/181.
