A CHARITY shop in Tavistock is asking for support as it is very low on donated goods.
The Sue Ryder shop is asking people to dig deep into their wardrobes and cupboards and bring along any unwanted items in good condition to their shop on West Street. These can then be turned into funds to help the charity continue to support people with illnesses like cancer and long term conditions such as MS, Parkinson's and Huntingdon's Disease.
Shop manager Melanie Sealey said: 'Last time we asked for help, local people responded really well and we saw a large increase in donations of stock. I would like to thank everyone for their support and I am hoping that people will be willing to help us again.
'People who donate are an essential part of our charity and we simply couldn't carry on our work without them.
'We are very low on ladies' clothing, men's clothing, accessories, CDs, DVDs, and general household items. Donations will always be gratefully received and taxpayers are always given the option of Gift Aiding their donations to make them worth more to the charity.'
