ROVING reporters at Mount House School have put pen to paper to create the school's very first student newspaper.
Filled with stories ranging from the scandal of the missing door knob and a report on the school's Valentine's disco to fashion advice, restaurant reviews and film reviews, the newspaper takes a light-hearted look at the current goings-on in the school.
The first edition, 'I'm a Pupil, Get Me Out of Here!' was created by pupils in year six who were given the brief of developing a newspaper that would be of interest to other pupils.
They chose their own subjects to write about and carried out background research and found visuals to accompany their stories.
It is hoped that one or two newspaper per term will be created with different year groups getting a chance to be involved.
