THE exotic scenery and wildlife of Costa Rica is to be the subject of the first talk in the 2004 programme of wildlife awareness events organised by local volunteers from Devon Wildlife Trust.
Ged Tucker will be showing slides of his visit to the country at the Parish Church Centre in Tavistock at 8pm on Wednesday, February 11. Entrance is by donation of £2 to the trust.
All of the trust?s events are open to anyone, whether members or not, and new faces are welcome, together with anyone who would like to get involved in helping to run events or help with publicity.
Other events planned include a coach trip to the National Seal Sanctuary and the Lizard, a bluebell walk and a talk on insect hunting in Ecuador. For more details, contact Sue Boxall on 01822 820292.
