A CALSTOCK parish councillor has resigned because of ill health. Frank Fletcher said he had very much enjoyed the last four years on the council and believed much had been achieved, including the parish plan and the visitors? centre at Drakewalls, which was soon to be built. ?Both of these will be major steps forward in the next few years,? he said in his resignation letter. Cllr Norma Greenslade said: ?We shall miss Frank?s input on the various committees he was involved with.? The council agreed to write a letter thanking him for his service. The vacant seat on the council will now be advertised and nominations sought.
