FREE advice about tax and insurance will be on hand in Okehampton next week when the Inland Revenue's mobile advice centre rolls into town.
The unit will be at Simmons Park car park on Tuesday when the team will be answering queries on self-assessment, general tax and insurance matters as well as help with working families' tax credit, disabled persons' tax credit and children's tax credit.
Shaun Hills, a member of the team, said: 'Being a rural area, it can be difficult for people to visit our tax enquiry centre, so we aim to take our service to them as part of our continuing customer service initiative.
'Are you paying the correct amount of tax? Are you able to claim any tax credit? Whatever your query, come and see us, we are here to help.'
The mobile advice centre will be at Simmons Park between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
