IN reply to John Branch (Letters, May 3) and his broadband experience. We are approaching the first anniversary of funding awarded to Devon for improved and superfast broadband.

Any type of improved delivery is not due until early 2013, then to what areas and how is unknown. This could include his area but not Tavistock, which is not within any funding.

Further to my letter (Snail mail? It's faster! May 3), my connection was restored on time and efficiently. There was a screw loose up a pole. I now have 1.9Mb/s download speed, and I guess that's as good as it will get.
