CUSTOMERS of a certain bank in Tavistock which has a cash dispenser facing the Square have for some considerable time had to do battle to read its fading instructions, particularly when the sun is shining.

The queues to use the machine have become very slow moving as transactions take much longer than usual due to this. Those not used to the machine have particular problems and I have heard many moans expressed by users.

Having finally become fed-up with the situation, I passed my comments and complaint to a staff member of the bank, who offered her apologies and said they were aware of the situation ? but they could not do anything about it until, basically, they had received enough complaints!

I find this an amazing statement and situation, but thought those whose patience with the old machine has run out would like to know this piece of information to act accordingly.
