A BUMPER 260 Year 4 pupils from Tavistock area primary school attended a day of dance held at Kings Community Hall and Tavistock Scout Hall on January 15.

The theme was a celebration and much fun was had by the children, learning street, Bollywood, country and modern dance routines.

Teachers and parents joined in and everyone agreed it was a great success.

Organiser Mhairi McCall of OCRA gave credit for this success to dance practitioners Jessica Squires, Ellodie Stott, Jenny Dodd and to Emily Absalom, dance teacher at Tavistock College, who brought along sixth form dance students to assist with the day.

The children thanked them all with huge applause.
