BABES in the Wood by Gunnislake Amateur Dramatics (GLAD) ran without a hitch in front of an enthusiastic and appreciative full house audience on its opening night last week.
The frequent hilarious interaction between the polished and confident performers and the audience — especially with the large group of local cubs — further enhanced everyone's enjoyment.
The colourful and effectively lit sets, the comprehensive range of stage props and the wide range of striking costumes surprised and delighted everyone.
After three final curtain calls, the audience and cast went home happy — everyone agreed the production, the first panto in Gunnislake for 40 years had been a great success and was worth all the hard work involved in making it happen.
