A HOST of experts will be providing an afternoon of free advice on identifying and treating the three main invasive plants within the Tamar Valley of Outstanding Natural Beauty next week.
Ferry Farm, in Calstock, provides the venue for practical tips and demonstrations to help people control the spread of Giant Hogweed, Himalayan Balsam and Japanese Knotweed on their land.
Organisers of this free drop-in session are the Tamar Invasives Group, who have arranged for representatives from the Environment Agency, Natural England, Tamar Valley AONB and Cornwall Council to come and share their knowledge.
The public can drop in at any time on May 22 between 12.30pm and 3pm. Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon. For further information contact Corinna Woodall, Tamar Valley AONB, on 01822 835030 or email [email protected]">[email protected]
