HAD the Westcountry Balloon Fiesta been held in Okehampton I am sure that they would have had banners throughout the town welcoming the pilots and their crews as they do for the annual Ten Tors and other events in Okehampton.
This would not only make the balloonists want to return year after year but would also remind people coming to the town that this event was taking place. It has been good to see them once more flying over the town and all credit to the Lions Club and Round Table for once again staging it, but come on Tavistock, let's show that we want these events in town.
