WEST Devon A having taken Conservative A's home record the previous week in the Tavistock Snooker league, found themselves on the wrong end of an Tavistock win going down 2-3 at home. WD went two frames up with wins for K Rich and Hurford over Grylls and Stewart. The worm turned for Tavistock though with Hoar overcoming Hawke followed by Ryall taking out Heathman. Down to the decider it was Woods comfortably beat Emptage for Tavistock to take the spoils.

Current leaders Con Z beat Conservative B. Symons dug out a tough win over Lillicrap for the Z team only for Ewings to bounce back with an emphatic win for the B team. Z retook the lead with a superb come-back for Fitzsimmons over Evans only for Andrews to restore parity with a win over McKechnie. Dodd edged out Dolan and put Con Z top of the league.

Conservative A beat 'new boys' WD C 5-0. Folley whipped in a 22 break to overcome Shrimpton, followed up by a Carruthers win over P Rich. Evans beat Williams to make it 3. Lacey overcame WD C's skipper Pennington, with a 24 along the way while Cook robust potting display was too much ofr Elliott.

Consevative C entertained WD B with Con's Neale edged out May only for R Rich to oust C Jago. Con's T Jago beat Bath but J Rich drew WD level with a good win over Croucher. The decider went to the wire but it was WD that clinched it with a win by Smith.
