MOUNT House Colts played two rugby matches against Exeter Cathedral School, winning one and losing the other. The Colts A team had a relatively comfortable win by 45 points to nil, with tries by Spiers 2, Barrasford 2, D?Entrecasteaux, Newman and Clark, and conversions from Massey 2, Lopes, Harding and Spiers. Mount House started with some good passing and aggressive running to score 5 tries in the first half. The second half was more even as Exeter brought on some older players to bolster their side. Two more converted tries were just reward for some good forward play. This was a good performance, which will have prepared them well for some more competitive matches in the second half of term. The Mount House 2nd XV had a tough afternoon against Exeter Cathedral?s 1st XV, going down by 45 points to 5.
