GROWTAVI open forum will be taking place on Tuesday (October 12) discussing all aspects of local food growing and supply.

Discussions will include allotments, GardenShare and community supported agriculture.

Lucy Wood from the Buckland Food Group will be the guest speaker, talking about the setting up of a community growing scheme on land at Buckland Abbey and their projects, including a livestock group, vegetable growing group, apple harvest and cider group and a bee group. There will also be updates on the work of Transition Tavistock.

The meeting will take place at the Wharf in Tavistock from 2pm to 4pm.
