A TAVISTOCK man who suffers from cerebral palsy celebrated a remarkable achievement this week, when he completed a 30-mile swim.
Marcus Dill, 33, had every reason to smile on Monday (June 9), after his epic swim earned him a SwimFit award from the Amateur Swimming Association.
Marcus has been a keen swimmer for 20 years, and has accumulated 30 miles during regular ?referrals? sessions at Kelly College pool over the last couple of years.
He swims before he goes to work at Business STC, and finds it very beneficial.
Referrals sessions are held on Monday and Thursday mornings, and anyone interested in joining should contact Kate Tugwell on 01822 610817.
