A HEALTHY set of triplets have been born to Hattie, a Holstein cow at Cleave Farm at Lifton. Farmer, Malcolm Tillier said: ?I reckon I have calved 5,000 cows in my 30 years of farming and this is the first time I have had a healthy set of triplets.? Seven-year-old Hattie is already a valuable member of the herd, having given 112,250 pints of milk so far in her life. In addition to running the farm with his sons David and Lee, Mr Tillier is chairman of Countrywest trading, a board member of Tamar Feeds and Tamar Milk producers and a director of Dairy Crest Direct Ltd. Now the Tilliers are trying to find names for the trio. Suggestions so far have been Tamar, Pinnacle and Duchy but if anyone can come up with better, call 01409 253407 and ask for Amanda. The person with the best suggestion will receive a £10 Countrywest voucher.
