NEW postcards reflecting aspects of Tavistock's past have been compiled by Museum volunteer Graham Kirkpatrick.

Four new postcards highlighting historic images of Tavistock are now on sale.

Graham Kirkpatrick, has combined his own current-day photographs with historical images to illustrate important parts of the towns heritage.

They expose several historic images, including Tavistock's viaduct, Brunel's viaduct across the River Walkham at Grenofen, Tavistock's Abbey Chapel, Betsy Grimbal's Tower and other historic scenes — each postcard incorporates four different views.

The postcards are being sold in aid of Tavistock Museum, and are available from the Museum during 11am until 5pm including Sundays.
