DISCOVER the meaning of Christmas through the ages at the National Trust?s Buckland Abbey this month. Costumed characters, decorations, food and music will help bring the meaning of Christmas from medieval times to the present day, to life. The Christmas event will take place from Thursdays to Sundays, from now until December 23, 11am to 5pm. Participants can try on a Tudor costume, and see Father Christmas in his grotto each day.
