LEAGUE leaders North Hill found Tavy a dominant force. On a pitch which after ten minutes looked like it had been ploughed, both teams found the going tough.
Paul Jeffery opened the scoring for Tavy and they had several chances to increase the margin. North Hill pulled level only for Ben Stephens to put Tavy ahead for the second time.
A 20-minute lull in the Mary Tavy performance at the restart saw the home side go from 2-1 down to 4-2 up as Tavy crumbled.
With a couple of changes they began to regain composure and a joint effort from Stephens and Hunter pulled the arrears back to a single goal.
Tavy deserved something from this match, but could not find a way through for the equaliser.
