A VOTER turnout of 58% saw Philip John Warden Hackett elected to Sheepwash Parish Council on January 10.

A total of 124 out of the 213 registered electors turned out to vote, with 57 in favour of Mr Hackett, while 41 voters chose Nick Hutchings and 26 Jo Driver.

Mr Hackett replaces Cllr Thomas, who resigned in October.
