THE annual Lewdown Produce and Flower Show was held at the Victory Hall on August 23.

Bryan Wonnacott, show chairman, welcomed everyone and thanked all who entered exhibits.

He said: 'It has been a difficult year for gardeners with the weather conditions we have had, but the exhibits were still of a good standard.'

Bryan also thanked those who worked hard behind the scenes to get the show running.

There were good entries in the cookery class, and the quilting exhibits were a delight to look at, floral displays were of a high standard, and again vegetables and flower entries were of a good quality.

The children showed enthusiasm in their entries, which bodes well for the future of the show.
