WE all know that it is every dancer?s dream to perform on a London Stage. So it was with delight that I witnessed Gunnislake?s Orchard Studio?s entry into the Big Time at Her Majesty?s Theatre, Haymarket, London. I think they deserve a standing ovation for their performance. After a day ensconced in the theatre, with a list of rules to follow, they danced on the stage, performing a black and white circus routine with a professionalism and joy that took your breath away. I cannot begin to imagine the hours that Caroline Chapman spent on the choreography, especially as there is an age difference from senior citizens to six years of age. Comments around me were high in praise and the applause was also an indication of appreciation. They also performed Not Enuff, this was done with profound feeling, you couldn?t help feeling sorry for the rejected guy. I would love to see this troupe perform the story of St Piran the Cornish saint. Congratulations to Caroline Chapman and all who took part, a successful product of hard work. Gunnislake should be proud of the talent displayed by their dance studios. Yvonne Whiteing 156 Larkspur Drive Eastbourne
