OUR public loo in Buckland Monachorum has been closed due to vandalism and I have heard that it will never re-open.
Our new library and computer centre in Tavistock has been built without a public loo at all and I have been told I must seek relief elsewhere. Our refurbished market loos have been fitted with a second door that allows access from the road, but a notice stuck on this door informs me that I may not pass when the market is shut.
As a lady of mature years and mother of two children, I often wonder if the committees who make the decisions that affect our public services in this way are dominated by fit males with bladders the size of watermelons!
