AROUND 30 Dartmoor ponies will be up for auction in Bovey Tracey on Sunday, July 8.

The event will be organised by the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust, a registered charity, at its centre at Parke.

All ponies put forward for private sale will have been well handled prior to the event.

Visitors will be able to watch the ponies being put through their paces as they compete with each other over the centre's new permanent obstacle course.

This is a family event and is open to all members of the public.
