TAMAR Valley Tourism Association has produced its own accommodation directory to help visitors to the valley find somewhere to stay.
?This is the latest step in promoting the area,? said Tamar Valley Marketing Project co-ordinator, Bob Barrett. He said the guide would complement their existing website ?http://www.tamarvalleytourism.co.uk">www.tamarvalleytourism.co.uk ? and would give comprehensive details of the bed and breakfast, self-catering and hotel accommodation available in the valley.
Tamar Valley Tourism Association has 100 members, including tourist attractions, food producers and ferry and pleasure boat companies as well as accommodation providers. A new leaflet promoting the area is currently in production, and special interest leaflets covering topics such as ?Gardens of the Tamar Valley?, ?Eating out in the Tamar Valley? and ?Tamar Valley Craft Trail? are planned for the spring.
The tourism association is also preparing for an exciting project, the inaugural Festival of the Tamar Valley being held on June 22 at Morwellham Quay.
