I HAVE just read, with interest Mr Sharp's letter in your paper, dated April 4.

While I have to agree with him that there are a lot of shops in the town that do not open at 9am or when they say they will, and I know there are also shops that put up back in five minutes and are gone for a lot longer, but to say that there are only two shops in town that go out of their way to help is a little unfair.

We at PK Domestic Appliance open at 9am, never put up a sign 'Back in five minutes' and are always more than happy to help any of our customers.

We regularly price check with the bigger stores in cities and more times than not match them.

So please people of Okehampton, please don't think there are only two helpful shops in town.
