HELPFUL Holidays in Chagford has become the principal sponsor of the 2012 Moretonhampstead Festival of Food, Drink and the Arts on Saturday March 10.

The festival is the first food festival of the year in the area, and a celebration of local produce from across the South West. More than half the exhibitors' pitches have already been booked, and organisers are hoping it will be the biggest festival yet.

Helen Hayes, PR manager of Helpful Holidays, said: 'This promises to be a fabulous day out again this year. Last year the festival had a staggering 5,000 visitors, all flocking on a bright March day to enjoy the culinary delights and demonstrations, as well as the artistic displays on offer. It's anticipated there will be even more visitors this year, and we're delighted to support this thriving and increasingly popular event.'
