AN SOS to all conservationists — Okehampton resident Jan Gillett is calling upon someone to take over the mantle of resident tadpole protector!

Over the last few years, Jan Gillett has ensured that the pools by the stepping stones between Fatherford and the bridge over Moorbrook do not dry out and rob the tadpoles of their habitat.

However, Jan is now in her mid-seventies, and feels unable to continue.
