AN exciting community event comes to Okehampton this weekend.

A free information fair will be offering people the chance to get expert help and advice while enjoying refreshments and some live music.

The Okehampton Community Morning, co-ordinated by West Devon Borough Council, will include representatives from more than 25 public services organisations, charities and support agencies.

People will be able to get information on a range of topics including debt, recycling, childcare, fire safety, independent living, rural transport and many more.

Wren Music, will be providing free entertainment.  Okehampton Youth Roots Ensemble will kick off the event at 10am with a performance of local folk tunes and newly written songs.  At 11am and noon, the West Devon Folk Choir will also be performing..

Free refreshments will be on offer, donated by Waitrose. All welcome.

The Okehampton Community Morning takes place at The Charter Hall and Red Lion Yard on Saturday, between 10am and 1pm.
