AN information and advice roadshow could help put a spring in your step when it goes out and about this May. West Devon Borough Council's Connect Partnership will be offering all the usual advice and information about public and support services but there's also a chance to pick up a complimentary leisure pass at some locations. Parklands Leisure Centre in Okehampton is offering a free seven day pass for visitors to the road show when it stops off at Exbourne on May 2 and Chagford on May 9. An advisor will be on hand to tell residents about the facilities the leisure centre has to offer. Among the other organisations taking part next month are Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), Action on Hearing Loss and Oakhouse Foods, which offers meals to people living independently in the community. Every West Devon Connect session is hosted by an advisor from the borough council who can help residents with a range of queries from housing to recycling.
