THE summer hockey league came to an end with Hell's Angels on top, Wolferstans seconds and Tavi Pumas in third.

Adam Holland, the captain of the Pumas said a big thank you to the 28 men and women who play for the Pumas this session.

Tavistock Hockey Club are holding its adults training at Kelly College astroturf pitch on Thursday evenings between 7pm to 9pm, starting on September 1.

The cost of senior training is £2 payable on the evening or it is taken from match fees if you play in a team. The Club warmly welcomes any adult over 15 wanting to try out hockey.

Junior hockey training is also on Thursday evenings between 6pm-7.15pm.

Junior hockey training is for all junior members of the club. The club welcomes all children from the age of eight upwards. The club can provide hockey sticks and balls although parents should invest in a gum shield and a pair of shin pads for their child.
