IN the ladies March medal and Astor trophy qualifier at Yelverton Golf Club the winner of division one was Helen Harris, with a net 79; the runner-up was Belinda McSherry, net 80.

In division two the winner was Sheila Brookbank, on net 79, runner-up Elizabeth Calder, net 81. The ladies February medal in division one was won by Belinda McSherry, with a net 73 on the back nine, runner-up Annette Sweeney, net 73.

Division two was won by Elizabeth Calder, net 79, runner-up Sue Rumbold, net 80.

* YELVERTON Golf Club veterans played a three ball competition with 1,2,3 scores to count. The winners were John Friend, David Kelly and Paddy Westell on 74 points.

Second with 72 were Eric Bradshaw, Dennis Voisin and Graham Steen and in third Eddie Primmer, Peter Smerdon, Nick Ring and Colin George, 71.
