THE 80th annual flower show of Lydford WI was held on Saturday. It is not restricted to WI members, and new exhibitors would be welcome.
The recent hot and dry weather affected the number of entries, but they were of a high standard, particularly the flower arrangements.
Cup winners were: ? children?s classes: Worth trophies, under 11 years, Bethan Dean; 11-15 years, Luke Crocker. Faulds trophy, best exhibit, all ages, Kate Marks; Cornish cups, under 11, Bethan Dean; 11-15 Kerry and Luke Crocker; Warnett trophy, most points, Youth Club member, Luke Crocker; Calvert shield, under 5, Charlotte Dean; trophy for most points: Kerry Crocker; Mills cup, family with most points, Crocker family.
