THE Rotary Club of Yelverton is hosting the launch of the South West puppy socialising project this Saturday at the club?s summer fayre. People will get the chance to meet some of the puppies and the representatives of the charity, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, as well as enjoy a hearing dog demonstration. The charity is currently looking for willing volunteers to take puppies and young unwanted or donated dogs into their homes as part of the early training process. Directions to the event at the Memorial Playing Fields, Meavy Lane will be signposted from the main Yelverton roundabout. Entry will be from 12.30pm.
