SINGERS from as far afield as Watford, Peterborough and Redruth will join local performers at concerts in Okehampton and Hatherleigh next week.

Songs from the Shows, which will include numbers from Carousel, Guys and Dolls, Brigadoon and some Gilbert and Sullivan pieces, will be performed at Fairplace Church in Okehampton on Tuesday August 31 and Hatherleigh Town Hall on Wednesday September 1.

The concerts will feature West Devon singers Christine and Roger Cleverdon, John Holland and Brian Abell.

Both events start at 7.30pm ? tickets priced £4 are available on the door.
