MAY we, who represent the critical views of those who signed the recent petition concerning the West Devon core strategy, express our thanks for the encouragement we received?
Some of us attended the public hearing on November 18 and were impressed by the way in which the inspector conducted the proceedings.
Now, in this season of Advent, all we have to do is wait for the inspector to give his verdict about the proposal to build 900 extra houses to the east of Okehampton. He will need the wisdom of Solomon!
Let us all pray that he will receive the gift of wisdom this Christmas as he weighs up the pros and cons of the proposal.
