WEST Devon residents are being invited to come along and enjoy the performance of the Chagford Singers, who will be performing Haydn's Creation this month.

The performance, which will include a glass of wine for guests, will be held on Saturday, November 28 at 7.30pm in the parish church in Chagford.

Tickets cost £12 in advance and £14 on the door, which will include wine and the programme. Entry is half price for under 16s.

Tickets can be purchased from Sally's Newsagents in Chagford or are available from Kathleen Perkins on 01647 221269.

The Chagford Singers are also looking for anyone who enjoys singing, to join them for their spring concert of Carl Orff's work, Carmina Burana.

There will be no auditions, although it helps if singers can read music.

Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm at Endecott Hall in Chagford.
