RESIDENTS are being invited to discuss how West Devon Borough Council can tackle their budgetary restraints on January 5.

The council is holding a public meeting at the Ockment Centre from 7pm to explain their budget challenges, and involve residents in discussions on where the council can save money and shape the work of the authority.

The meeting is part of the council's budget consultation survey, gathering as many opinions as possible from the public on how the authority can reduce their budget by £400,000.

All residents are welcome to come along and contribute in the interactive sessions. For more information visit http://www.westdevon.gov.uk">www.westdevon.gov.uk
