POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a missing man with connections to the Okehampton area who has not made contact with his family since the beginning of the year. Police were contacted by a Luxulyan woman, asking for help in tracing her son, 42-year-old Nigel Morcom. He has not been in contact with his family or friends, which is unusual, and concern is growing for his welfare There is no reason as to why he should have gone missing. Both police and family have tried to find him, but so far all enquiries have drawn a blank. Mr Morcom has previously worked in a pub at South Tawton and has contacts in the Okehampton and Mevagissey areas. He is described as of stocky build, with short fair hair. Police last week released this photograph of the missing man. Anyone who has seen Nigel in the last nine months, or knows where he is now is asked to ring the police on 08452 777444.
