NEXT month?s Tavistock Fireworks display promises to be the biggest for several years say organisers the Lions Club of Tavistock.

The fireworks show will go ahead ? this is regardless of recent works in the Meadows, as the subway contractors Webb Construction have completed path work ahead of schedule.

The spectacular firework fun will take place in the Meadows on Saturday, November 2, with the theme ?The Spying Game?.

Proceeds from the event will go to the pediatric resuscitation team based at Derriford Hospital.

Gates will open at 7pm, and the display will start at 7.30pm.

Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children.
