SEVEN Chagford ladies scooped top prize in the Best Dressed Group category when they took part in an eight mile charity walk around Exmouth recently.

More than 1,000 people from across the county took part in The Midnight Smile Walk, organised by Hospiscare.

The Daisy Chains, who were also joined by other groups from Chagford Health Centre and Chagford Dental Practice, raised just under £2,000 in aid of Hospiscare.

Thanks were expressed to the walkers, costume makers and sponsors who helped raise the funds.
