HATHERLEIGH Cricket Club begins preparations for the 2003 season with a series of nets sessions in Okehampton Sports Hall starting on Sunday March 2 from 6pm to 8pm.
All current players are asked to attend and any new players from the area are welcome.
Following their relegation to the C division of the Devon League, the 1st XI under skipper Andy Bennett are hoping to bounce right back, while the 2nd XI will be competing in the A division of their league having won their division last season. Dave Penberthy continues as 2nd XI skipper.
The club will again be running six colts sides at under 11, 12, 13, 15, 16 and 17 levels and their sessions begin at the beginning of April though all 14 to 17 players are welcome at the nets in March.
