As the league has finished this year this match was played as a friendly at Eggbuckland.

Tavistock started the stronger team. Tamsin Bryant worked hard along with Clarice Payne to control the midfield but it was a fine run and through ball by Chloe Bassett that found newcomer Heidi Davies to slot away her debut goal.

Five minutes later good passing from Activate and a shot that left Robynne Honey wide open levelled the score line at half time.

After the break Activate went into the lead by another power drive shot. Activate piled on the preasure and a flurry of goals were conceded putting Activate 5-1 up.

In the last 10 minutes Tavistock suddenly started to play some excellent football and Robyn Hammond came close to scoring. Heidi Davies pulled one back for Tavistock.

Bassett then slotted in her ninth of the season and the game became fast and furious. Another attack saw Bryant and Blackmore pushing up to strengthen the midfield and Davies tucked in her hat trick on the final whistle. A superb comeback from the visitors.
