A SOUTH Zeal woman , who may have lost her gold wedding ring on a shopping trip to Okehampton, has appealed to anyone who may have found the ring to return it.
Jill Bassett, from South Zeal, was in Okehampton last Tuesday, September 16, when she visited a DIY shop and Waitrose. When Mrs Bassett returned home she discovered she had lost her 22-carat gold band wedding ring.
Mrs Bassett's daughter said her mother was very upset about losing the ring, which was more than 65 years old. If anyone finds the wedding ring, they are asked to contact Mrs Bassett on 01837 840672.
