HORRABRIDGE were returning from a three week break and the rustiness took a while to be blown away.
Once this happened the game reverted and Horrabridge scored from a series of passes which were well worked through the midfield. Matthew Gaden finished the move clinically.
After this goal Horrabridge lost their way and were punished by Activate who scored two goals due to bad defending.
The second half was totally different. Horrabridge came out with David Harris leading the charge.
This led to Arron Gaden crossing to Matthew who volleyed it into the net.
This spurred the Bridgers on and the work rate of Richard and Dominic in midfield pushed the rest of the team up a gear. The goal of the game put the Bridgers into the lead — a superb 30 yard lob from Gaden senior.
Ashley Gaden scored a solo goal, dribbling as only he can, to make it 4-2.
Horrabridge made three changes which paid off straight away with Jamie Tebbenham scoring his first goal for the club.
