THE home side started the better of the two teams on Saturday but faded as Zeal took control of the game midway through the first half and from then on never relinquished their superiority.

South Zeal went into the half time interval one up when Harley Cann headed home a well directed free-kick taken by Tom Reilly but could well have been out of sight as Zeal's two strikers Darren Gilbert and Darren Prouse ran the home defence ragged.

The visitors went two up after 10 minutes of the second half when a good move involving Phil Evans and Darren Gilbert enabled Darren Prouse to smash a shot from 10 yards into the roof of the net.

With South Zeal now totally in control a penalty conversion by Scott Hooper and two further goals by Harley Cann, both set up by Jamie Atherton, completed his hat-trick gave the visitors an emphatic win.
